LONELY TREE
LONELY TREE
1997 - now
Lonely Tree is a never-ending series of analogue photographs of trees standing alone, exposed to the elements. The muted and worn landscapes around them speak of time and the quiet erosion of what was once familiar. The trees solitary survival reminds us that endurance is not always grand or celebrated; sometimes it is silent, subtle, and slow.
These photographs invite us to pause, to see the tender presence in what is often overlooked. They ask us to reflect on our own place in a world that is constantly changing, and to find grace in persistence, even as surroundings fade.
